Salvia - Plumosa

With its gray-green basal leaves and aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers. It has a plant height of 18” and a spread of 18-24” and stays in excellent compact form. Salvia ‘Plumosa’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. Blooms look wonderful next to Sedum ‘Matrona’, Achillea 'Coronation Gold' and Saliva ‘Snow Hill’. To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. ‘Plumosa’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. Canna - Pretoria ‘Pretoria’ is a prolific grower and medium in size. The Canna Pretoria, 'Canna', also known as a novelty Canna or Bengal Tiger, has bold orange flowers with yellow and green striped variegated foliage. It has a plant height of 3-4’ and a plant spread of 24-36”. It will bloom from July to October. Cannas are an excellent choice for patio plants and they add color, height, and texture to any perennial border. For a tropical look in your garden, don’t forget Canna’s. ‘Pretoria’ should be planted in full sun and in a well drained area.
