Geranium - Hocus Pocus

For best results, soil should be of average to moist and well-drained. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. This beautiful perennial is unique in it has chocolate brown, almost bronze, foliage. The Geranium Hocus Pocus, Geranium pratense 'Hocus Pocus', has rich, sky blue colored flowers with darker veins and a lighter colored eye that begins blooming in early summer. Hocus Pocus can be planted in full sun to partial shade. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. Bellflower - Samantha Try ‘Blue Waterfall’ with Coreopsis ‘Early Sunrise’, Rudbeckia ‘Viette’s Little Suzy’ or Anthemis ‘Susan Mitchell’. It has a plant height of 6-8” and a spread of 18-24”. ‘Samantha’ should be planted in full sun, but will tolerate morning shade and will do well in all types of soil. This ground cover is best used in rock gardens, as an edging or in tubs and pots. The flowers are 1” wide and very fragrant. The Bellflower Samantha, 'Campanula ‘Samantha’, has showy, compact blue-violet flowers with dark green foliage. ‘Samantha’ blooms from early summer to late spring and will sometimes repeat flowering in autumn.
