Fuchsia - ShadowDancer® Betty

The red sepals with white corolla flowers perch well above the bushy small leaved foliage. Keep the soil moist to the touch from spring through autumn. Fuchsias do not like to dry out. They are great plants for greenhouses, window boxes, baskets, homes, and flower beds. These plants have dark green leaves often with red stems. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. The flowers, which are produced during the summer and early fall, are droopy and come in many colors. This Proven Selections plant blooms all summer long. The Fuchsia ShadowDancer® Betty, 'Fuchsia hybrid', is a very early blooming Fuschia with exceptional uniformity and compact growth. Fuchsias should be planted in warm, sheltered spots in well-drained soil. Fuschia is one of the Hummingbirds favorite flowers. Grass - Purple Fountain Grass It has purple foliage and purple foxtail-like flowers. "Purple Fountain Grass" is a vigorous grower that will quickly fill in any bed or container. It makes a great speciment plant and can be used as a center piece in a container. Plant in fertile well drained soil in full sun after all danger of frost has passed. The Grass 'Purple Fountain Grass', Pennisetum setaceum, is a fast growing, clump grass. The foxtail like plumes will appear mid summer and last until first frost. This plant is only an annual in northern climates.
