Dried Delights

Some of the flowers contained in the seed packet are Baby's Breath, Bells of Ireland, Chinese Lantern, Green Thumb, Love in a Mist, Money plant, Pampas Plume, and Strawflowers. When fresh flowers are scarce and expensive in the winter, arrangements of "everlastings" are a wonderful alternative for indoor floral decorations. Place them in full sun and keep the soil well drained and moist. The Dried Flower packet contains seed of 20 different flowers that lend themselves to drying. Plant 1 to 2 weeks before the average last spring frost date. This mix covers approximately 40 square feet. Dried flowers provide endless possibilities for flower arrangements, wreaths, swags and other craft ideas. The Flowers, Dried Delights, will help you enjoy bouquets from your garden year-round when you grow these flowers. Sometimes called everlastings, these varieties are well-suited to drying and other methods of preservation. Instructions for drying the flowers are found on these seed packets. ... additional information
