Daylily - Reblooming Collection
The re-blooming Daylily Collection, 'Hemerocallis', contains 5 plants, 1 each of Daylily 'Twilight Secrets', Daylily 'Blueberry Cream', Daylily 'Thundering Ovation', Daylily 'Wild Horses' and Daylily 'Lacy Doily'. Daylilies are the perfect perennial. Each plant sends up many flower stems, and each stem bears 12 or more buds. Trouble-free, maintenance-free, they tolerate most soils and conditions if they get at least 6 hours of sun. Use them in a perennial border, in front of shrubbery, as an edging along a walk or wall, and in your bulb beds, where they hide the ripening foliage of tulips and daffodils. They need dividing only every 10-15 years. Bloom is lavish and continues for several weeks or more on each plant. Plants 18-24" apart. ... additional info
Geranium - Southcombe Double They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. |
