Datura - Angels Trumpet

Plant in the spring, 1 to 2 weeks before the last frost. The Angel's Trumpet Datura requires full sun and prefers well drained soils. Take advantage of the heavenly fragrance by planting the Datura close to a window. Note: All parts of this plant are poisonous. The flowers last only a day or two, but blooms appear from mid summer to late fall. The pale blooms will glow well into the twilight and their scent is heavenly. Water regularly, but do not over water. If your time only allows you to enjoy an evening garden, then the Datua is the plant. The flowers are 6 inches long, trumpet-shaped and white in color, tinged with lilac. Pepper - Bell - Mandarin Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Mandarin Bell Peppers turns from green to an impressive glossy, deep pumpkin-orange color. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Blossom pruning will improve fruit size. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Even under cooler conditions, Mandarin produces very sweet and tasty peppers. The Pepper Bell Mandarin, 'Capsicum annuum (Hybrid)', has a unique glossy orange color with very sweet flavor that combines beautifully with red, yellow and green peppers in a colorful salad.
