Coral Bells - Obsidian
Coral Bells are grown more for their foliage color but the small blooms that they contain will attract hummingbirds. Like most Coral Bells, it thrives in partial sunlight but once established it will also grow in shade. Plant the Obsidian with Coral Bells Lime Ricky, Marmalade or Peach Flambe for a fantastic color contrast. The Coral Bells Obsidian, Heuchera 'Obsidian' (PP14,836), with it's Jet Black leaves, has the darkest foilage to date of the Coral Bells. Use this coral bell as a ground cover, in rock gardens, as a border plant or as an edger along paths and walkways. Hibiscus - Eruption - PPAF The color of this flower must be seen to be believed. (PPAF). It is one of the best bloomers in the Fleming Family of Hibiscus. The oak shaped leaves have purple castings which also make this variety quite unusual. 'Eruption' looks wonderful with grasses, as a background plant or with Hibiscus 'Fantasia' and Hibiscus 'Old Yella'. The Hibiscus 'Eruption', grows to 3' in height and is perfectly names with its explosion of 8" hot pink flowers. It is best to plant this Hibiscus in a full sun area and it will tolerate most soil types. |
